Meet Kiyomi
OWneR & Founder
Kiyomi Bramlette is passionate about designing for real life, without sacrificing beauty or feeling. She believes every space should create a moment of pause, bringing awareness to your senses and comfort to your body. If she had a specific design style it might be described as ‘perfectly imperfect’ because Kiyomi knows how to create homes that feel lived in and functional, while still being aspirational.
Her greatest inspiration for every project are her clients. She loves getting to know them–the small details and the big, and what matters most to them–and then weaving the pieces of who they are into every aspect of their home.
Interior design isn’t Kiyomi’s first career. Or her second. But it is her leap of faith, go all-in on a dream deferred for more than a decade career. After getting two other degrees–in Graphic Design and Business Marketing–and becoming a mom, Kiyomi decided to go back to school to pursue her Interior Design degree. Post graduation she grew her experience working at design firms in Bozeman and then took her second leap of faith in spring of 2022 and founded DesignHouse.
Kiyomi loves starting her day nestled and cozy at home before sunrise, exploring the Bridger mountains, and traveling to her favorite moody Oregon coast when she’s away from the studio. She lives outside Bozeman, Montana with her husband, son and their mischievous but adorable dogs, Remi and Baker.
